This diploma project presents the first systematic English translation and multi-level linguistic analysis of Sh. Boshbekov’s comedy “Iron Wife”. The research focuses on resolving lexical, grammatical, stylistic, and cultural-pragmatic challenges encountered in Uzbek-to-English translation. Based on comparative-contrastive and communicative-pragmatic approaches, the study systematically substantiates the strategies for preserving national identity in the text. The practical value lies in promoting Uzbek literature globally and serving as a supplementary guide in literary translation classes
